Erkelenz - On Sunday evening (August 17), shortly after 11 p.m., an argument broke out between several men on Konrad-Adenauer-Platz, which was initially loud and verbal. The argument then turned physical, culminating in one man setting his German shepherd on his opponent. The dog bit and injured a 38-year-old man.
Just before the police arrived, four men fled in the direction of the city center. The dog owner was about 180 centimetres tall and had a southern appearance. He was dressed in jeans and a red sweater and was wearing white shoes.
